with a background in graphic design, it just seemed like the perfect project to work on together.
Monster ABC's teaches:
I've always encouraged my kids to be creative and use their imagination. Most of time their creations come in the form of legos, but they love to doodle as well. When Malcolm was younger, he would constantly create words or letters and make them into Monsters. One day, I mentioned to him if he would create each letter by itself, I could make a book out of it. He thought that sounded like a fun idea and got to work. My graphic design background in me is always looking for creative/fun projects. I love children's books and it's always been a dream of mine to create one. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to make that dream come to life! Malcolm is now 13, and he made these letters when he was 9. The book has been done for awhile, but my mom finally pushed me to take it to print. It's been a real family project and so much fun to see his drawings come to life. I hope that children enjoy this colorful creation of monster ABC's!
